The Judge's Space
This is where judge sits when he presides over trials and all other cases. This picture is quite cloudy, but I believe it shows the important elements. In front of the judge's stand is where the court reporters sit and type away. In Huntington County there are two female court reporters. To the left, is where the witness stand is. A Pennsylvania sentencing guideline book and some other book regarding the level of criminal offenses sits in front of the judge, which is vaguely displayed. His gavel sits to his right. Rarely, does he use his gavel to maintain the court because the courtroom is usually not that chaotic. That sums up the judge's space. Click here to return to main page.
