Hurricane Sandy Relief Drive

In what will be the first phase of a number of hurricane relief efforts by the Juniata community, the Juniata College Democrats, Juniata College Republicans, AAUW, PAX-O, Campus Ministry, and Habitat for Humanity are teaming up to collect a number of items and monetary donations for a collection site in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
Please consider donating the following items which have been specifically requested by the collection site:

- Toiletries and personal hygiene items such as: toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, baby hygiene products, baby wipes, shampoo/conditioner (including dry shampoo since many families still do not have hot water for showers!)
- New underwear for any age/body type
- Socks for any age and size

Monetary donations for shipping costs and toilet paper and paper towels (which will be purchased in bulk) would also be gratefully accepted. Don't have time to shop? Bring a monetary donation and we will buy your donations for you!

Please bring your donations to the lobby of VLB this Wednesday and Thursday from 11am-2pm, or 6pm-9pm. Donations may also be dropped off at the Unity House or Office of Community Service either day between 8:30am and 5:00pm.
