What does "peace" mean to you?

Peace means a lack of conflict, on any scale. Peace is generally considered good for the physical and spiritual well-being of humanity, but conflict can lead to change and progress. Perfect peace is an unrealistic goal, but at least we can be glad that complete conflict is also unrealistic, as humanity will always have that spark of understanding and kindness.

Conflict: noun. Discord of action, feeling, or effect; antagonism or opposition, as of interests or principles.

I'm not really interested in going into semantics and questioning every word I use, as it just turns into a Derrida-esque loop of definitions. (Guess who's writing an essay about Postmodernism! IT'S ME!)
