Guy Croyle '72 serves as the Advancement Data Coordinator, taking care of the alumni and donor database. Additionally, Guy serves as the Friendship Family Coordinator for Juniata's Center for International Education. He also has volunteered with the Great Epochs International Alumni Study Tours, the Afghan Scholarship Project and the Concert Choir International Tours--serving most recently as Hungarian lyric diction coach for the choir's 2011 Hungary & Transylvania Tour.
Guy lives in Petersburg with wife Jane (White) Croyle '95, who also works at the College as the Educational Services Assistant in Good Hall. Earning a Bachelor of Science at Juniata in Biochemistry in 1972, Guy went on to earn a Master of Agriculture in Extension Education/Dairy Science from Penn State in 1976. In 2005 he received the Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) from University of Cambridge, UK, with studies completed at International House, Budapest.
Prior to working at Juniata, Guy taught conversational German and English near Budapest, Hungary, served in local government, worked in industry, and volunteered in the arts and rural leadership development.
Since 1967, Guy has travelled extensively internationally, including Western and Central Europe, the West Indies, North Africa, Asia, Asia Minor and the Middle East. He is fluent in German and French and can converse in Hungarian as well.
