John Hille grew up in Crystal City, Missouri. He is a graduate of Rhodes College with a BA in Psychology. The Juniata College departments for which he is responsible include enrollment, financial aid, marketing, publications, development, alumni relations, and the Juniata College Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
Prior to Juniata, John served for five years as Vice-President and Principal in The Complex Sale, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in sales, services and marketing effectiveness for technology and consulting firms. He served for three years as President and COO of Vancouver based SFG Technologies and earlier as Vice President of the Financial Systems Division of Ross Systems.
John is active in the Stone Church of the Brethren as a leader of an adult class and as occasional pulpit supply and has chaired stewardship and capital campaigns. He is a member of numerous professional and community organizations including the Board of Directors of the Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce of which is he is past president, President of the Huntingdon County Chamber Foundation, past President of the board of the Huntingdon Area Habitat for Humanity and past Chairperson of the Advisory Board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Huntingdon.
He is married to Tan Hille and has two adult children, Ted and Robin.
