Facilities
Facility endowments help preserve, restore and maintain facilities, as well as provide for the construction of new facilities. To provide a named new facility requires an amount equal to three-fourths of the construction cost. In order to name a preserved or restored facility, you need to establish a fund equal to one-half of the restoration cost of the building. A minimum of $100,000 is needed in order to create a maintenance endowment for a certain facility.
Current facility endowments include:
- The Baker Peace Chapel (1997)
- L.A. Beeghly Library (1965)
- JE Oller Language Lab (1997)
- Science Hall (1911)
- Sunderland Patrick Property (2004)
