Preserving Founders Hall

Sarah Moyer '02 and M.E. Harris '39

"Founders Hall was always the center of the campus, not only physically, but in our hearts. It holds so much sentimental value, not just for me, but for so many people in my family... and now for Sarah, too."

  • Sarah Moyer '02 and M.E. Harris '39

Constructed in 1879 Founders Hall is the icon of Juniata College, serving generations of students and faculty. Every student has passed through its doors. Now, Juniata is moving to preserve and renew this landmark.

Here's how you can help:

I'm Gonna Walk All Over You.
For $125 each, donors can engrave a brick to honor or remember family, loved ones, classmates, or an organization. Bricks will be engraved and placed in the main walkway from Moore St. to Founders Hall steps.

Be a Pane.
A gift of $500 will be recognized in a newly etched window of the bell tower, lighting the way for generations of Juniata Students.

Step Up.
Your gift of $5,000 will be recognized with a plaque that will be located on one of the steps of the bell tower. These stairs will be replaced with a new open staircase, providing a safe and usable entrance to Founders Hall with a dramatic overhead view of the bell.
