I am currently studying Biology at Juniata College with the intention of going to medical school. I have really enjoyed all the Biology classes I have taken so far, but I especially like Biology 106, the Functions of Cells and Organization. I think it is fascinating all the different cellular processes that occur in our bodies and in other living organisms.
One of my favorite things about Juniata College and something that attracted me to this school is the small classes and the personal interaction with professors. This scholarship greatly helps me to continue to study at Juniata, especially with the economic crisis that our country is in. Medical school costs are at an all time high, which means I will have a lot of student loans.
When it times come to pay them back this scholarship will mean that is one less loan I have to pay back.
I know that I am very thankful for this scholarship and plan to help students in future generations in the same way that you helped me.
