Why I chose to attend Juniata: I chose to attend Juniata College mainly because of the flexibility of POEs instead of majors and the ability to take classes in my desired field as a freshman. Along with this, I love the small-campus community vibe and feel like people here genuinely care.

Clubs and Organizations: I am a member of the Women's Rugby Team and an Eagle Ambassador.

Most Interesting Class: My most interesting class is Introduction to International Politics. I feel like I am actually accomplishing something by taking this class because it is directly related to what I want to do and I am developing an in-depth understanding of international politics that I have never had the chance to even come close to before.

Favorite Faculty Member: Dr. Nagengast has made a difference in my life because he is my adviser, as well as the Professor of my favorite class. He has encouraged my involvement in the Gambia program, which I am excited to be a part of this summer and has helped guide me where I should be headed at this point.

Words can't even describe how thankful I am to receive this scholarship. Without the financial support, there is no way I would have ever been able to attend Juniata College. Though my family is still having a hard time, you have helped to ease some of the financial burden and allowed me to go to college. I am here learning, growing, and experiencing. This is all thanks to you.
