High School: Red Lion Area Sr High School

Why I chose to attend Juniata: I chose Juniata for its small family-like community and also to be able to play for such an amazing volleyball program.

Clubs and Organizations: I am the president of the SAAC and I am also a part of the presidential search committee.

Varsity Sports: I am on the women's volleyball team and have played every position for the team except libero.

Internship: I have an internship with Sodexo as the catering student assistant manager. I help set up and work events all around campus.

Most Interesting Class: Women Work and Identity. It has helped me identify the challenges that women face in the workplace and has helped me to figure out how to deal with them.

Favorite Faculty Member: Lynn Cockett because she challenges me and makes me think critically. Also, Grace Fala has taught me to respect others and learn how to communicate more effectively.

Thank you so much for your support! Without this scholarship I would be at Appalachian State playing for the wrong volleyball team! I have also had the pleasure of learning under the communication department and obtaining a skill set that I could not have obtained anywhere else. Once again thank you!
