Why I chose to attend Juniata: I chose to attend Juniata College because I am able to explore many different career pathways due to the liberal arts program. I am also able to become involved on campus through organizations and athletics.

Clubs and Organizations: I am the Class of 2016 secretary for student government. I am also involved with PAWs, which aims to assist animals in need.

Varsity Sports: I am a sprinter on the Track & Field team.

Most Interesting Class: My Introduction to Psychology course was definitely the most interesting class. I have never had a psychology course before coming to college, but I already know that I would like to have a Program of Emphasis in Pyschology because of how interesting the class is.

Favorite Faculty Member: Beth Bleil in the Academic Support office has made a difference in my life. When I was struggling with the Organic Chemistry course during drop/add period, she quickly helped me find an alternative, which happened to be Psychology. Because of her, I finally found a topic that truly interests me.

I would just like to thank the Juniata College Employees for providing me with this scholarship. Juniata College is very prestigious, and without this scholarship, I would not have had the opportunity to attend such an excellent school. Coming into college, I was nervous about how I would adjust, but Juniata has simply become a home away from home. The campus and environment are wonderful, and I'm truly grateful that I have the opportunity to go to school here. Thank you very much for your support.
