High School: Indian Valley High School

Why I chose to attend Juniata: I chose Juniata College because it was close to my hometown and allowed me to stay close to my family, whom I am very close. Also, I liked the close-knit, small community Juniata provides. The small number of students allows for more one-to-one attention from teachers, which is a great privilege. Also, you get to know most of the students on campus, which provides a sense of safety.

Clubs and Organizations: Cheerleading and HOSA member

Most Interesting Class: The most interesting class I have taken this year was Functions of Cells and Organisms (Bio II). I found this class interesting because we learned about different systems and how they function and regulate themselves.

Favorite Faculty Member: Dr. Richard Hark, whom is my second advisor, has made a difference in my life. He was a great teacher in Organic Chemistry I and II and has always been there to talk to and answer questions.

Honors Received: HOSA

I would like to thank the Class of 2003 for sponsoring my scholarship. This scholarship has allowed me to attend a very prestigious college for an affordable cost. Without this scholarship I would most likely have had to work a part time job while attending to my studies. Also, I would have had to take out more loans in order to afford this school, but thanks to this scholarship I have not had to do that.
