Why I chose to attend Juniata: I chose to attend Juniata because of the campus atmosphere. From the actual size of the college, to the personalities of the professors, I really found Juniata to be a comfortable place for me. I love how I am able to have the undivided attention of my professors when I go meet with them to talk about class or future plans at Juniata and beyond. It is evident that they really do care about me as a student and I can't imagine going to a college where it's any other way. I also really like the PoE and how flexible it has allowed my schedule to be. I am really able to focus on the things I want to focus on and I believe that will make a difference when I graduate.

Clubs and Organizations: I am a member of Eagle Ambassadors, Treasurer of the Art Alliance, and member of French Club.

Most Interesting Class: My most interesting class this year is probably Computer Science. I had to take it for my Secondary Emphasis in Information Technology but I found that I actually have an interest in programming. It's very interesting to me how javascript works and how programs are made up of a lot of the same code just in a different structure or format.

Favorite Faculty Member: It's hard for me to choose a single professor for this question. Every professor I have had thus far has impacted me in a different way. For the sake of the question, however, I will say Professor Burkhardt as she is my primary advisor and has, time and time again, been a more than helpful resource to me. She understands how Juniata works and what is best for me here and after I graduate. I appreciate her advice and input very much.

Coming to Juniata has been the biggest decision of my life thus far. It has also been one of my best. I was able to make that amazing decision almost two years ago because of this scholarship. I am very thankful this financial support was given to me or else I may not have been able to attend Juniata upon receiving my acceptance letter in the mail. I honestly do appreciate this scholarship and am very thankful for it.
