Why I chose to attend Juniata: I chose Juniata College because having a liberal arts degree is important to me. I was never a fan of art in any form, and in high school I found my love of art through a food class. Then coming to Juniata I decided to try taking more art, not to mention it's a requirement. Having art as a requirement pushes me outside my 'normal' world and it helps me grow and realize that there are things in this world that have deeper meanings.
Most Interesting Class: The most interesting class I have taken this year, so far, is Survey of Western Art. This class has been so interesting and fun. Dr. Rosell has been one of my favorite professors here. She listens and lets us express our opinions freely. This class has made me love art again.
Favorite Faculty Member: Dr. Johnson has made a difference in my life by treating me like I was his daughter. He talks to me respectfully and when I talk he listens. He checks up on me once in a while and he helps make sure that I have enough resources to reach my goals and dreams.
Thank you!
Dear Class of 1951,
Thank you so much for your generosity! Juniata College has meant the world to me. I came here to study subjects I love and experience new courses. This fall semester I took Survey of Western Art and I found my love of art once more. Without your support I would not be where I am today. Coming to this college has been such a privilege and honor.
Thank you!
