Research Participation: "Longitudinal analysis of gut microbial community dynamics of an inflammatory bowel disease cohort." Dr. Regina Lamendella The cause of inflammatory bowel disease is currently unknown, however dysbiosis, or an imbalance of the normal bacterial flora, has been implicated in IBD pathogenesis. I am analyzing changes in the community structure of commensal gut microbes and correlating dysbiosis to changes in inflammatory bowel disease condition.

Thank you!
Thank you for the scholarship through the Juniata Scholarship Fund. Tuition is expensive, and the gift decreased the amount of money I had to borrow this year to afford Juniata. I treasure my education here, and am grateful for the community. Thank you again for the scholarship.
Sincerely,
Erin McClure
