High School: Somerset Area Sr High School

Why I chose to attend Juniata: I chose Juniata because of the individualized POE, having two advisers and the sense of community I felt within the campus when I first visited.

Clubs and Organizations: Hillel, HOSA, SAA, Dance Ensemble. I held no positions but was very busy within each, volunteering my time and ideas.

Internship: While I was abroad in Scotland I had an internship dealing with a facility that gave services to older adults with cerebral palsy.

Travels Abroad: Scotland. I absolutely loved the traveling experiences that were so easily planned and executed. I also enjoyed being in a different culture with different lifestyles and world views.

Most Interesting Class: I took Religion and War. It was interesting to see how our species developed and created religion as well as how war and violence is in some ways promoted by religion.

Favorite Faculty Member: Professor McKellop has been my advisor for three years and I've had him in class the last two years. He is a wonderful teacher and as my adviser I always trust him to give sound advice and take time out of his busy schedule to talk to me.

Honors Received: I have been on the honor roll three times.
