Amanda Chamberlain
Program of Emphasis: Biology
Hometown: Waynesboro, PA
High School: Waynesboro Area Sr High School
Why I chose to attend Juniata: I chose to attend Juniata College because it is a small liberal arts college, with small classes, and a high percentage of graduate school acceptance rates.
Most Interesting Class: The most interesting class I have taken this year is Structure and Function of Cells and Organisms. I am a Biology major, so this class is especially interesting because I enjoy learning about how cells function. I am hoping to one day work for the CDC, therefore I need to know function and structure on the molecular level.
Favorite Faculty Member: Dr. Muth has been a tremendous advisor; he has helped me decide on the classes to take to get me to goal of graduating a semester sooner than others of my year, and has been very supportive.
Thank you!
Dear Class of 1963,
Without your financial support I would most likely not have been able to attend Juniata. Federal funding only covers so much, and my parents are on a fixed income. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Amanda Chamberlain
