Why I chose to attend Juniata: I chose to attend Juniata College for its outstanding volleyball program and coach, Heather Pavlik. I also chose Juniata because of its friendly environment and community-like atmosphere.

Clubs and Organizations: Volleyball Team

Varsity Sports: Volleyball team

Most Interesting Class: The most interesting class I have taken this year is Survey of Western Art. I view this class as interesting because I have always been an Art fanatic and it was great being able to study different time periods and what lead to each style.

Favorite Faculty Member: The staff member that has made the most difference in my life has been Professor Hark with Organic Chemistry. His class helped me figure out that being a Vet was not for me and led me to follow a new dream into animation.

I deeply appreciate this scholarship. It has made it possible for me to attend Juniata and to continue my dream of playing volleyball and receiving an education in Art to later get a job in the field of animation. If I did not receive financial support I would have had to stop playing volleyball and look for a school that was less expensive or did offer financial support.
