Why I chose to attend Juniata: I chose to attend Juniata College because of the great community and professors who cared about the well being of their students. I loved the atmosphere on campus and the fact that I had the chance to play softball at a collegiate level was just a bonus! Juniata was an overall fit for me, I am so glad that I chose to attend here!
Varsity Sports: I play Softball and play the positions of Pitcher, Second basemen, First basemen and whereever else needed on the field!
Most Interesting Class: The most interesting class I have taken at Juniata College would be "HOBO" or Behavioral Analysis Org. because I was able to find out more about myself through taking the class. A requirement of the class is to go on a "HOBO" hike through the woods with no GPS systems and with the group you are assigned with. Through going on the hike, we learned how to communicate with our group members and come to mutual understandings to make the most effective decisions to get to the various check points and finally finish the hike together!
Favorite Faculty Member: Professor Grace Fala has made a difference in my life because through taking the class Interpersonal Communication that she teaches I have learned to be a better communicator within myself along with communicating with others. She shows a positivist attitude in every class and really wants her students to succeed in all they do!

I would like to send a big thank you to the class of 1965 for sponsoring the scholarship that has been given to me! This scholarship has truly made it possible for me to attend Juniata College. Without the scholarship I would not be at Juniata and be in the amazing classes along with being able to playing a sport, softball, at the college level. So thank you very much for your support! I would not have this great opportunity to excel in the class room and then later on in life!
