Why I chose to attend Juniata: I choose Juniata College because I had a feeling I would get a higher quality education, as well as hands on instruction from Professors and Faculty members who truly care. Thus far into my time at Juniata, I have not been disappointed once in those regards. I have also fallen in love with the Juniata campus, and the Huntingdon area is my second home.

Clubs and Organizations: Juniata College Fruit and Wine Club, Vice President With the Fruit and Wine Club, I help to coordinate club meetings, plan events for the club to participate in, and organized 'work days' for the club to help tend the Juniata Vineyard. Young Entrepreneurs Society- Secretary/ Treasurer With YES, I keep track of club expenses, and created a proposal to request additional funds for the club. Blug Pig (Philanthropy Club) - Vice President The Blue Pig works alongside the Juniata Scholarship Fund to help get students to begin to give back to the JSF. I help to organize collection dates for donating, as well as help spread the word of the Blue Pig.

Varsity Sports: Track and Field- 110M and 400M Hurdles

Internship: Marketing Intern- Intelmarx, LLC. (Altoona, PA) At Intelmarx, I assisted in many facets of the marketing process. I updated clients websites and online communities, created and posted blog entries to Intelmarx's, reviewed and edited Intelmarx marketing materials, and helped to create low cost marketing strategies for Intelmarx's clients.

Favorite Faculty Member: Jim Donaldson has really pushed me to be the person that I am today. He demands such a high level from his students, so I always find myself pushing to become better. I feel like I am the student I am today by having Professor Donaldson for so many classes.

Thank you very much for awarding me with an award from the Juniata Scholarship Fund. This year I am lucky enough to be the Juniata Associate for the JSF. It has been a very eye opening experience to see everything that goes in to contacting alumni, parents of students, and friends of Juniata to ask for donations for the Juniata Scholarship Fund. It has been a very rewarding job to be able to have a part of this process, and I am grateful for being able to benefit from it.
