Robert Higgins
Program of Emphasis: Biology
Hometown: Middletown, PA
High School: Lower Dauphin Senior HS
Why I chose to attend Juniata: I chose Juniata for several reasons, but mostly because of its excellent academics. The biology program here is very intense and I believe it will prepare me for my future endeavors. I also decided to attend Juniata because I wanted to play Division III soccer, and the coaches and players are all great guys.
Varsity Sports: I am a current member of the varsity soccer team, and I play in the midfield.
Most Interesting Class: I would have to say that HOBO (Human organizational behavior) was the most interesting class I have taken at college. It is a subject that I knew very little about and I enjoyed the hike, because it was not like any other field trip that I have been on.
Favorite Faculty Member: I just had a meeting with Dr. Kirchhof-Glazier, and I have not spent much time with her, however she is an awesome person, and I think she could help me out a lot with my career planning.
Honors Received: I made the Dean's list in the spring semester of my freshman year.
Thank you!
I cannot explain how important this scholarship is. Without it I would probably not have been able to attend Juniata College.
