Program of Emphasis: Biology/Pre-Med
Hometown: Frederick, MD
High School: Governor Thomas Johnson HS
Why I chose to attend Juniata: The small class sizes allowed me to feel like I was a member of a class and not just another face.
Varsity Sports: I am on the varsity track and field team and compete in long jump, high jump, triple jump, the 48 100 meter relay, the 4×200 meter relay, and the 60 meter dash.
Most Interesting Class: The ecology module of biology lab 121 made me realize how much I love environmental science. I am considering switching majors to Environmental Science with a focus on Estuarine Ecology.
Favorite Faculty Member: My track coach. Coach Blair is a great sprint coach and is always there to talk to me about anything whether it is related to school, track or social life.
I am overly thankful for the award I received. Without the support of the people who see potential in me I would not be able to attend this fine institution of higher learning.
