Program of Emphasis: Professional Writing and Pre-Medicine
Hometown: Pittsburgh, PA
High School: Perry Traditional Academy
Why I chose to attend Juniata: I knew it was the kind of place where I could figure out who I was.
Clubs and Organizations: Juniata EMS/QRS-8: Training Officer Relay For Life: Team member
Varsity Sports: Football - Kicker/Punter
Internship: 2013 PSNE Conference Intern: covered the 2013 Pennsylvania Society of Newspaper Editors Conference by writing articles about the events
Most Interesting Class: History of God: Learning about the origins and history of the Bible, along with the religions such as Christianity, Judaism, and Islam were very fascinating to me. There's a lot of interesting information about these religions that people just don't know.
Favorite Faculty Member: Jan Hartman - Fantastic CWS professor, mentor, and friend Bob Reilly - Opened my mind to sociological concerns in our world in an entertaining way Debra Kirchhof-Glazier - Guided me fearlessly through the extremely daunting process of applying to medical schools
I can't thank you enough for helping me be able to attend Juniata College. My experience at Juniata has transformed me into a person that I'm proud to be, and I don't think I'd have had the same experience anywhere else. 'Anywhere else' is where I might have ended up if not for this scholarship.
