Space Touts: Juniata Students Tell All on Study Spots

For many Juniata students, spring break is either a reward for enduring a week of midterms, papers and projects or a time to prepare for the mountains of work looming within returning week. spring break is over and students talk about their favorite places to study:
Amidia Frederick ’13, Huntingdon, Pa.:
When I study, I go to the basement of Lesher. I sit in between two couches, near the kitchen area. It is completely excluded from other people. I need complete silence to disappear and focus on studying.
John Huffstetler ’11, Bridgewater, Va.:
I like to study in von Liebig the best, because there are a lot of little nooks to study in.
Elizabeth Van Blarcom ’11, Columbia Cross Roads, Pa.:
Standing Stone Coffee Company is my favorite place to study! I take classes all day on campus, so it is nice to get a break from the campus buildings while studying.
Alex Dintruff ’13, Lake Bluff, Ill.:
There are very few buildings, on campus, that I don’t study in. I usually study on my own because I constantly get distracted when I am with others. My favorite place would probably be Muddy (Eagles Landing), because I can get food and work as late as I need.
Bridget Hughes ’11, Troy, Pa.:
I prefer to study in either the Unity House or a classroom in Good. I like studying in Good because I can stay late, blast my music, and draw all over the whiteboard.
