This past Feb. 14, flowers were spotted on campus as talk of Valentine’s Day plans were in the air.  For some students, Valentine’s Day can be a momentous event, while for others, it’s just another ordinary day.  In honor of this past Valentine’s Day, I asked Juniata students, both single and taken alike, how they spent the romantic holiday:

Hilary Walsh ’12, Waynesboro, Pa.: “My boyfriend wasn’t able to come visit, so a girlfriend and I just went to go to “The Vow” in the movies—a real tear-jerker.”

Angelica Molinari ’12, Long Island, N.Y.: “I went to class, went to work, and made myself some pasta with a few glasses of wine. I love myself!”

Elise Mihranian ’14, Chester Springs, Pa.: “Generally speaking, I hate Valentine’s Day, but this year I had the perfect valentine. This Valentine’s Day, my boyfriend and I watched a movie and got takeout from OIP. It was nice to spend time with him and have a low-key night together.”

Dom Cuzzolina ’13, Hollidaysburg, Pa.: “I just ate candy and had fun with my friends.”

Carianne Turin ’12, Greensburg, Pa.: “I attended an anti-Valentine’s Day party and just had fun with some of my friends.”
