On March 24, Juniata had its annual major event concert featuring the artists The Dean’s List and Chris Webby.  Both up-and-coming hip-hop acts, they rocked the stage with high energy and charisma, filling the venue with palpable excitement.  I asked JC students who attended for their opinions and feedback:

Carianne Turin ’12, Greensburg, Pa.: “I wasn’t really familiar with either of the acts before Major Event, but I was really impressed by Chris Webby’s freestyle abilities and swagger.”

Katie Healy ’12, Mount Lebanon, Pa.: “Overall, I found that this year’s Major Event greatly exceeded my expectations, and I had a great time.”

Brian Pugh ’12, Valley Stream, N.Y.: “I had fun, but I think they could have found even better artists to come.”

Connor Fung ’12, San Francisco, Calif.: “I listened to their music quite a bit before Major Event, and I was surprised to find that both acts sounded even better live.”

Holly Brandes ’12, State College, Pa.: “I am a huge fan of The Dean’s List, and this was my second time seeing them live.”
