A Spooky Weekend
Since Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year, many students went out in their Halloween costumes this weekend to celebrate the horrifying holiday. Some Juniata students give us the scoop on their costumes and why they chose them.
Haley Chandler ’16, Northampton Mass.
I wore a Halloween costume because it was fun to feel like someone different for a night. I wore a flapper costume, and I went to East Houses.
Kaitlynn Plummer ’15, Bridgeton N.J.
I wore a costume because my friend and I decided to match. I was Catwoman and he was Batman. We went to our friends’ rooms to dance and have fun and then we went to East to dance some more.
Courtney Sledzianowski ’15, Baltimore Md.
I didn’t dress up yet. I am going to dress up as Hermione from Harry Potter on actual Halloween, but this past weekend I just hung out with people on Saturday and read Sherlock Holmes on Sunday.
Hailey Aguero ’16, Newington Conn.
I went as Peter Pan and I went to a Halloween party on campus. Peter Pan is my rugby nickname as well, so that’s why I went as him.
Kelly Shunn ’15, Los Angeles Calif.
I’m going in a steam punk costume on Halloween. I’m going to wear it because Halloween is the best holiday ever. I’m going to help pass out candy in my friend’s room and maybe go to hang out in East or something. As for the weekend though, I didn’t do anything.
