Meet the teammates…

Tuesday night, about 30 girls across the Juniata campus simultaneously roared with laughter, whether they were in their dorms, at the library, or in a computer lab. All of them were members of JCFH, and all of them read a certain email sent by a special graphic designer/ photographer on our team, Meghan. Half of our teammates’ faces were superimposed on various pictures of animals, superheroes, body builders, you name it! There was no better way to get us pumped for Wednesday’s game against Drew University for the Semi-Finals of the Landmark Conference Championship. Tonight, I had the pleasure of reading a second email from Meghan, and again cried with laughter. Just when I thought Meghan could not have possibly outdone herself after the first email, the second email was even funnier. The other half of our teammates’ faces were superimposed on pictures of various creatures, hippies, and babies, with a gentle reminder of our commitment to beating Susquehanna for our third consecutive Landmark Conference Championship title. Sound weird? Well, that’s the beauty of playing for JCFH. We’re weird, we’re crazy, we’re goofy…but we sure love hockey, and we have tremendous talent on the field to prove it.
