Juniata Alumni Council Survey
The results from the March 2010 survey have arrived! Almost 40% of the alumni were contacted and over three thousand responded! So here goes.
Alumni like to stay informed about Juniata and want more information to become
better advocates for Juniata. The Juniata magazine is the most powerful force in connecting the college with alumni. Ninety-three percent of alumni say they to read it.
Juniata alumni possess a considerable amount of good will toward their alma mater and want to continue to remain connected to the college, other alumni and current Juniata students. The connection that is most important to Juniata alumni is their continued relationships with former classmates and friends.
50% of alums feel that financial support is a way to show their support. Gratitude for the value of a Juniata diploma and the underlying educational experience represents the primary incentive for giving back to Juniata.
There is a preference among Juniata alumni for little steps of volunteerism, not wide strides. Alumni connectedness to JC does not necessarily correlate with volunteer commitment.
