Choose from five designated earth and environmental sciences Programs of Emphasis (POEs) or design your own in conjunction with faculty in other departments. The EES designated POEs are environmental economics, environmental studies, environmental science, geology, earth and space science/secondary education, and wildlife conservation. Can’t choose just one? Combine two—your advisers will help you along the way.

What Our Alumni Are Saying:

"Earth and environmental science at Juniata is distinctive. Here, the faculty knowledge of EES is broad, which enables students not only to study their areas of interest, but also to open new doors and learn about other aspects of important, modern science."
