Closely related with the other social sciences, politics provides both practical and theoretical orientation and preparation for graduate school, law school, governmental service or public administration. Choose from three politics POEs: politics, international politics, or philosophy, politics and economics. Or, create your own POE. The curriculum is organized around four basic dimensions: American politics, public administration and policy, international and comparative politics, and law and philosophy. Special topics courses and research seminars broaden the offerings.

What Our Alumni Are Saying:

“I love studying politics at Juniata. The professors help me gain a solid knowledge of how the political system works and enable me to develop informed viewpoints on current issues, which prepares me for what I will face in the future."
