Nathan Smith is the sixth year head coach of Juniata College men’s and women’s swim teams. Since becoming the head coach, Nathan has guided his swimmers to 8 school records, 2 conference records, and the program’s first ever Landmark Conference victories in relays and individual events. The Eagles boast a 100% improvement rate for their college swimmers’ best times in the past five seasons. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Nathan graduated from Kenyon College, where he earned five Division III All-American honors and swam for three national champion teams.
Chrissy Whiteman is the first year assistant coach of Juniata College men’s and women’s swim teams. Chrissy is a Juniata graduate who swam for the team all four years and served as a team captain in her senior year. After graduating from JC, Chrissy earned her Master’s in Mind, Brain & Education at Harvard University and currently teaches chemistry at Mifflin County High School.
