Provides general accounting support to include monthly account/bank reconciliations, Perkins Loan management, as well as other general accounting duties as assigned.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and other general accounting functions.
- Manage the Perkins Loan process.
- Provide all accounting and management of college real estate.
- Perform all duties associated with capitalization and depreciation of assets.
- Print and provide internal control function for all checks.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
This position reports to the Controller.
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of desktop software applications is required.
- Ability to work in a team based environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
