April 25, 2013: To ALL participants in the Science Olympiad
From the Site Director - Due to strong student use at this time of the year and and the limitations of our wireless network we have decided to not allow participants the use of our wireless network. This decision was not taken lightly and we apologize for the inconvenience.


April 23, 2013: To All coaches, participants, parents, and friends.
From the Director of the Digital Media Studio - We apologize but due to unfortunate and totally unexpected problems with our equipment we will NOT be able to stream video the Science Olympiad Awards Assembly. We worked hard to try and rectify the situation but were unsuccessful.

April 19, 2013 - To ALL coaches:
From the State Tournament Site Director: The on-line sign up for walk-in times has been expanded. There are more time slots available in the 2:00 time period than originally listed.


April 17, 2013 : To All C division Coaches
From the supervisors of Mag Lev - We would like to encourage all Mag Lev participants to wear gloves since the propellors are moving at high speed. We have seen several people get cut.


April 16, 2013 - To ALL coaches:
From the State Tournament Site Director - A reminder that electronic sign up for event times will begin tomorrow, April 17th at 7:00 AM and will end April 24th at 5:00 PM. Please follow the instructions in the initial letter you received at your regional tournament.


April 10th 2013 - To All B division coaches:
From the supervisor of Crime Busters - "All safety requirements as written in the event description will be enforced. Students with long hair should have something to tie the hair securely so that it will not interfere with their work."


April 4, 2013 - To ALL Coaches:
From the tournament site director: Because of several unexpected reasons we had to make several room changes to the B and C division schedules. The new schedules have been posted. (Note: for Meteorology, FH is Founders Hall, number 1 on your map)


March 25, 2013 - To ALL coaches:
From the event supervisor for Geek Speek - This year at the Pennsylvania State Science Olympiad Tournament, we will be holding a fun "Trial Event" to bring out the geek in all of us, known as "Geek Speek"! The theme for this event will be the movie trilogy The Lord of the Rings. Both B and C divisions are invited to participate, as well as any adventurous adults in their own special "Adult" division. Sign ups for this event are available online at http://www.mysignup.com/geekspeek until Wednesday, April 24th at 9:00PM.


March 22, 2013 - To ALL B division Coaches:

From the supervisors of Mission Possible - Impound time will be from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM in the basement of von Liebig Center for Science. If the supervisors run out of time during a time slot, the devices will have to be run after 3:00 PM, which will try to be avoided if at all possible.
