"Bill is one of the greatest musicians I've come upon. Something about those Evanses—must be a breed."
-Miles Davis

Saxophonist Bill Evans started his career in jazz, playing with such seminal figures as trumpet legend Miles Davis and guitarist John McLaughlin and the Mahavishnu Orchestra. He has since branched out into musical genres such as country, bluegrass, rock and soul music. He has recorded with such musicians as Willie Nelson, Bela Fleck, Mick Jagger and Bruce Hornsby. His most recent band is Soulgrass, which combines bebop, bluegrass and blues into a musical gumbo of rollicking music. In addition to touring with his own band, Evans performs with trumpeter Randy Brecker in the band Soulbop and has played as sideman and session musician for countless jazz and pop headliners.
