Campus Leadership Opportunities
Don't forget to utilize the community service transcript notation to showcase your volunteer experiences.
Bonner Leader
The Bonner Leader Program is designed to heighten the overall education students and members receive by asking them to engage in ongoing service work and helping them develop the experience, skills, knowledge and values necessary to make that work meaningful and lasting. At Juniata College, the Community Service Office recruite first-year students to participate in the Bonner Leader Program at the end of the fall semester.
Scholars in Service to PA
Bonner Leaders also have the opportunity to become AmeriCorps members through Scholars in Service to PA (SISPA). If they complete 300 hours and choose to pursue it, they may also receive a $1,000 AmeriCorps Award. Each SISPA member receives extensive leadership training and networking opportunities.
Interested students should contact Abbey Baird at bairda@juniata.edu. Click here for an application.
