High School Weekend Team Camp and Coaches Clinic
The high school weekend team camp and coaches clinic will provide teams the opportunity to improve upon individual skills as well as play competitive matches. The largest portion of the camp will be devoted to tournament play. The clinic portion of this camp will provide coaches with the opportunity to discuss offensive and defensive tactics as well as individual skill training. The weekend team camp will run from 1 p.m. on Friday (with check-in from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.) through 5 p.m. Sunday.

• Each team will have 2 matches per session and team training.
• Open pool hours are 9-10 p.m. for those not playing the late match.
• This schedule will be adjusted for Friday and Sunday.

Meet the Coaches
Heather Pavlik Juniata College Associate Head Coach |
Pavlik, a 1995 graduate of Juniata, was a setter for the Eagles and was a three-time AVCA first-team all-America selection and was one of six players named to the NCAA 25th Anniversary Division III volleyball team.
Pavlik is entering her 12th year of coaching the Eagles and is primarily responsible for the setters and the offense. She has trained five different starting setters, all of whom have received all-America honors. Carli Dale, the setter for the 2004 National Championship squad was named the National Player of the Year.

Larry bock Juniata College Head Coach |
Larry Bock is one of the most recognizable names in collegiate volleyball. His list of accomplishments and awards places him among the most successful volleyball coaches in the country at any level. Bock has been the head coach since Juniata began varsity competition with an 11-0 regular season in 1977.
Bock is the all-time leader in NCAA women’s volleyball with 110 victories. He has been named the American Volleyball Coaches Association “National Coach of the Year” five times and “Regional Coach of the Year” nine times. He has also been named Volleyball Monthly/ASICS “National Coach of the Year” three times.
Under Bock’s tutelage the Eagles have soared, winning two National Championships in three years. The Eagles have also advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals for 26 straight years and have appeared in the semi-finals 21 times. The program also boasts 31 all-Americans, including 24 first-team choices.
Facilities
The Juniata College Team Camp will utilize the Kennedy Sports and Recreation Center. Both the Memorial Gym and the Intramural Gym will be utilized with a total of five courts available.
In addition, two courts will be available at Huntingdon High School for the JV tournament. Huntingdon High School is within easy walking distance of the college.
Few colleges have a more attractive campus than Juniata. The 100 acres on College Hill provide a magnificent atmosphere and safe environment. Campers are housed in one of the residence halls on campus and have access to all of the amenities in the residence hall.
Additional facilities available include an indoor swimming pool and state-of-the-art fitness center.
