Summer of 2007: On the Set for Discovery Channel

On July 23rd and 24th, DMZ students Neil Perrin, Grace Canfield, Tim Auman, and TLT's Laura Sweltz joined up with Evergreen Films LLC. as production assistants on the set for a Discovery Channel documentary on Abraham Lincoln. The set was located at the East Broad Top Railroad Station in Orbisonia, PA, where the crew of Evergreen Films used an early 1900's steam locomotive in their production. Neil, Grace, Tim, and Laura spent both days working on the set and meeting the production crew, as well as earning a little cash on the side.

Summer of 2007: DV Expo East Conference

A variety of exhibitors were also present at the conference, including Dv Depot, DV Magazine, and Student Filmmakers. Along with attending the conference, the crew also enjoyed New York City's fine cuisine, traversed Times Square, and joined the release party for the final Harry Potter book.
