Student Software License Agreement
Sophos Corporation is willing to license this software to you as a full-time registered student only on the condition that you accept all of the terms of this license agreement. Read the terms and conditions of this license agreement carefully before using the software. This is a legal and enforceable contract between you, Sophos Corporation, and Juniata College. By clicking on the "I Agree" button or loading the software, you agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, click on the "I Do Not Agree" button or otherwise indicate refusal and make no further use of the software.
Terms and Conditions
The software, which accompanies this license, is the property of Sophos and is protected by copyright law. While Sophos continues to own the Software, you will have certain rights to use the Software after your acceptance of this license agreement. This license governs any releases, revisions, or enhancements to the Software. By clicking on the "I Agree" button, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions.
- You may install and use one copy of the Software on a single computer while you are a full-time registered student.
- You may make one copy of the Software for archival purposes.
- You may transfer your copy of the Software to a new computer on a permanent basis, provided that you retain no copies of the software on an old computer.
- You may obtain Content Updates for the Software while you are a full-time registered student, so long as Juniata College maintains its software license agreement with Symantec Corporation.
- You may NOT sublicense, rent, or lease any portion of the Software.
- You may NOT reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, translate, make any attempt to discover the source code, or create derivative works from the Software.
- You may NOT distribute a copy of the Software to anyone.
- You MUST remove the Software from your computer when your status changes from full-time registered student.
By using the Software, you assume all risks associated with the use of the Software, including ANY risk to your computer. Symantec Corporation and Juniata College shall not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages, including, without limitation, lost revenues, lost profits, or loss of Academic work resulting from the use or misuse of the Software.
