GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL
Presentations should be designed to analyze and generate conversation addressing various dimensions of diversity , social justice, and identity. Proposals addressing the research and the application of concepts related to the theme are also invited.
Please use the following guidelines to complete and submit your proposal to lead a session during the conference. Proposals must include all of the following elements to be considered in 250 words or less:
• Title of Presentation
• Presenter(s) Contact Information
• Session Length (please select 60-minutes or 90-minutes)
• Session Format: ? Workshop ? Panel ? Paper ? Poster Session
• Session Abstract
• Target Audience
• Presenter(s) Biography (brief)
• Brief Session/Bio Descriptions for the Program
• Audiovisual/Technology Requirements List
All proposals must be submitted by online in MS Word or Adobe PDF format:
Presenters must please register for the conference by January 15, 2008.
The deadline for priority consideration for received proposals is October 30, 2008. The final deadline is December 15, 2008. The conference committee, made-up of PA-NAME members, will review and select proposals based on applicability, creativity, and clarity. Accepted presenters will be notified by December 30, 2008.
All presenters will be responsible for their own conference fees and travel expenses. We will provide technology needs within reason.
