Authorization Information For End of Spring Semester
ATTENTION: Students working over the summer and/or next academic year on an hourly basis (please note if you will be paid by stipend instead of hourly basis you will not complete the online authorization). Hourly employees should complete your online authorization(s) for employment over the summer and/or next academic year prior to the end of the existing academic year at http://www.juniata.edu/apps/employment/index.php. We are offering this prior to the end of the academic year, so that you will already be hired and ready to start working as soon as you come back from break.
Summer employment officially begins the day after graduation. Do not enter a start date prior to this date for summer work. If you will be working over the summer and the following academic year use the option called “Both” under semester.
If you don’t confirm your employment prior to leaving for summer break, we will be ending your employment. If you are termed and return to work next year, you will need to complete an authorization the day prior to beginning work next academic year.
If you will be starting new employment (employment you haven’t completed an authorization for previously) prior to graduation you will need to either choose Both for the semester or complete two authorizations. Choosing Both for the semester, will continue your employment through next academic year. If you will only be working early May through the summer then you will need to complete two authorizations, and at the end of the summer your employment will be ended.
