Services and Fees
- Services are provided by Master's level clinicians with psychiatric supervision.
- Short-term mental health and drug and alcohol counseling.
- Individual and group counseling.
- Assessments, short-term therapy, and when appropriate, referrals to more intensive treatment programs.
- Depression Screening Survey.
- Emergency "on-call" services are available through the Dean on Duty Program or Campus Security.
Testing and Lab Work
Chlamydia Testing
- Provided by the State Health Department.
- Students must make appointments with the Health and Wellness Center.
- Cost is free.
PPD/TB Testing
- Available for student teachers and students required by their employers to receive the screening.
- Cost is free.
Lab Work
- Some lab work may be performed at the Health and Wellness Center, while some will need to be sent to J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital.
- Bills will be sent to students' insurance companies (Please see Juniata College's Insurance Information).
- The Health and Wellness Center will perform lab work during its hours of operation on Monday through Friday.
Examinations
Gynecological Exams
- Students must make appointments with the Health and Wellness Center.
- Bills will be sent to students' insurance companies (Please see Juniata College's Insurance Information).
Physical Exams
- Available for students' driver's licenses, jobs, student teaching and study abroad experiences.
- Physicals must be performed by the Physician or Physician Assistant.
- Cost is free

- Available in the Health and Wellness Center during Physician's or Physician Assistant's hours.
