Typical Duties and Responsibilities

 

Position Qualifications

1. Master’s Degree preferred or a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with relevant 5 years work experience.

2. Study and/or work experience and travel abroad desirable.  The successful candidate should have a minimum of five years experience in international education including advising students, working with faculty, supervising staff.   

3. Facility with a second language highly desirable.  An understanding of cultural diversity and intercultural training and experience and a willingness to travel on a regular basis is important.

4. Strong working knowledge of Department of Homeland Security and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations and procedures.  Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are important.
