The Juniata College Wellness Committee and CoreSource are pleased to introduce you to MyNurse24/7, a nurse phone line and health care information service. This benefit is available to use when you wish 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These benefits replace the previous CareWise program.
MyNurse24/7 provides you with clinical guidance for everyday health issues. It's designed to make your health and medical decisions less frightening and overwhelming. The program can help you understand your options for care, communicate more effectively with health care providers, avoid unnecessary and costly trips to the doctor or hospital ER, and identify emerging conditions before they become acute medical events. MyNurse24/7 is completely voluntary and can help you find answers to any health-related question.

The Complete Illustrated Guide to Medical Self Care: an Easy-to-use medical home reference that provides, at-home treatments for over 175 health problems and includes decision charts to quickly explain whether self-care is appropriate, or if you need to see a doctor. This book will be provided at your new employee orientation by the Human Resources department.
