Science In Motion Director
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure funding for SIM operations
- Oversee on-site operations of Science in Motion including daily business, budgeting, and compliance with all campus policies.
- Supervise all Science in Motion staff
- Represent SIM to the Juniata Campus
- Serve as the public representative and logistics coordinator for the Science in Motion Consortium, including lobbying at the state level
Position Qualifications
- Preferred science-related Ph.D. or equivalent experience
- Prior experience with employee supervision and management
- Strong leadership and people skills and the ability to work successfully with teachers at all levels of career development
- Previous experience in teaching, training, and professional development is desirable
