Susanne was born and raised in Huntingdon County, graduating from Southern Huntingdon County High School in 1998. She attended Shippensburg University and obtained a degree in Communications/Journalism in 2002 with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in English.
Following college, Susanne worked for Harmon Media Group, a division of Trader Publishing Company and Campus Door, Inc. in their marketing departments. Susanne took the position of JCEL Assistant Director in July 2006 and became the JCEL Director of Business Outreach in July 2007.
Susanne's responsibilities include administration of the Huntingdon County Enterprise Zone program,
