Friends Justin Bell and Dave Mease both had ideas of success while taking Juniata’s Hands-on Entrepreneurial Leadership Lab, a course that introduces students to entrepreneurialism. By early 2007, Gridiron Glory had been launched. Gridiron Glory is a company that provides a unique service as well as a product.

Gridiron Glory creates highlight films for both teams and individuals, with an option of having an entire season recorded for a team. The range of options for team highlight videos include: having the film given to Gridiron Glory by a team and receiving 30 copies of the final product, to having Justin and Dave go out and film a season with 30 copies of the final product going to the team. Each highlight video is unique to a team, with the team picking the music, graphics and clips to be used. . “We noticed an untapped market with colleges and high schools and thought it was a great opportunity to take advantage of,” said co-founder Justin Bell.
Gridiron Glory markets to high schools and small colleges in Central Pennsylvania. While Justin and Dave are still students, the market is somewhat limited. However, both plan to expand the business and market outside of Central Pennsylvania upon graduation. Gridiron Glory’s competitive advantage comes from the fact that a service like this is unavailable in Huntingdon and surrounding areas. Expansion for Gridiron Glory is expected to begin in late 2007 or early 2008.
