Juniata's Information Literacy Tutorials
The Information Literacy Tutorial is a requirement
for all incoming Juniata students during their Information
Access (IA) experience. Students will access the tutorial
from Moodle in order to receive credit for each quiz.
Juniata faculty members are encouraged to view the tutorial
to see what is covered during IA regarding the library.
The entire Juniata community, as well as members
of the greater Huntingdon community and even the global
community, are encouraged to go through the Information
Literacy Tutorial below as a part of their own lifelong learning.
The library has posted links to the tutorial in support
of information literacy.
As a guest user of the tutorial you will not be linked to
the quizzes the students must take. You are encouraged
to do every exercise. Note, however, that during Module
2 - Searching, there is one popup window to search Social
Science Abstracts that will not work properly off of our
campus network. In addition, Module 5 mentions the assignment that the students are required to complete.
We want to thank the University of Texas System Digital
Library for creating the award-winning TILT and for sharing
it with other institutions to customize for their own information
literacy program.
