Swigart Treasure Room
W. Emmert Swigart
The W. Emmert Swigart, Jr. Treasure Room
houses the majority of the College's Rare Book Collection. Strong
in German Americana and German language editions of the Bible, the
collection contains a large portion of the private library of 19th
century collector Abraham Cassel. Access to the Treasure Room is
arranged by appointment; persons from outside the College community
should contact the Library Director's office at 814-641-3452. Faculty,
Staff and Students of the College may also contact the Reference
Department for assistance.
