Guy Livingston,
pianist, 8:15 p.m., Jan. 29, Rosenberger Auditorium, Oller Hall
When Paris-based American
pianist Guy Livingston asked more than 60 composers to create an
original composition for him, he had one very specific guideline
in place: all pieces must not last more than 60 seconds. The result
is his concert performance, "60 Seconds for Piano," which includes
music in a variety of styles, written by composers from 18 countries
in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
